I enjoyed attending events at Pitt Community College and Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church celebrating the legacy and life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Speeches about love and kindness and the importance of community reminded me of Dr. King’s mission of equality and peace.
